An energy pyramid shows how the energy flows throughout a community. each level or section shows how organisms obtain energy by eating other animals. you might notice that with each level it gets smaller and smaller, because the energy is eaten and burned off only leaving a small amount for the next organism that comes along. so the consumers have to eat more to get the same amount of energy as the producers.
Pyramid of biomass:

The pyramid of biomass shows the amount of energy
lost in each trophic level. The total amount of living or
organic matter in the ecosystem is called biomass.

The pyramid of numbers shows the population that are in that specific geological area. The pyramid of numbers can also show how one organism affects another. The largest number starts at the bottom and with each passing level the numbers get smaller.

Food webs show how plants and animals are connected, each lend a hand in the others
survive. think of a food web as a sider web, if your remove a section of the spider web the entire web falls apart.

Food Chain:

Food chains are a direct line from one organism to another. This shows how one animal gets energy to live. the arrows in the picture shows the flow of energy, grass > grasshopper > rat > snake > hawk.
